Katie Callender’s background is in mechanical engineering, starting in the engineering consulting profession in 2005. Her extensive knowledge in mechanical system designs include healthcare, gaming, hospitality, supermarket, automotive, religious, multi-family, restaurant, office, and residential. These versatile project types have allowed her a comprehensive understanding of a wide range of systems and the strengths each system represents. Her design of nationwide projects, as well as LEED accredited projects, have provided diverse exposure and understanding to a variety of codes and energy qualifications. The experience in multi-disciplinary in-house MEPT project management and coordination provides a unique perspective of the interconnection of utilities and their corresponding requirements that can prove invaluable throughout design and construction.
